An
Interview with Award-Winning Designer, Jill Zvaigzne
"I
only want to create jewelry that works with all facets
of a woman's life," says Jill "Zi", who
has done just that with the versatile and captivating
collection.
"I
design for a woman like myself, someone with a career,
family and social life. The same jewelry should take her
from a T-shirt-and-jeans day to a dressed-up evening,"
says Jill, who enjoys a reputation as one of America's
leading jewelry designers.
The
exciting collection, introduced in 1998, bears the designer's
nickname, "Zi", and is available at specialty
jewelry boutiques and fine jewelry stores across the country.
In 2000, Jill received the Overall Excellence in Design
Award from The American Gem Society. The award-winning
piece, plus others in the collection, were featured in
AGS Collection's national advertising campaign in consumer
fashion magazines in which they were worn by TV personalities
Lisa Ling and Meredith Vieira. Also that year, the World
Gold Council selected a creation as a winner of their
Gold Trends 2000 Design Competition.

Institute of America) courses
and all are required to complete the GIA Diamond Essentials

as Bellarri thoughtfully states, "If my designs elicit
images of romance and dreams of faraway places, perhaps
it is because these have always been a part of my life.
